Taliban Strike historic of afghan

Taliban fighters have stromed several security posts providing protection  to  Afghanistan  historic minarat of  jam,  cutting access to the UNESCO world heritage site and killing 18 security force, officially said Wednesday 

The attack come less then a week after the revered 12th century minarat, located in a remort part of the western province of ghor, was threatened by surging floodwaters.

The taliban have captured some checkpoint around the minarat. we head to retreat because more fighting would cause damage to the minarat, sayed zia hussaini, the deputy police chief of ghor told afp
